Compensation and Schedule for the Inpatient Physician Coder 
Inpatient Physician Coder – Contract, remote, $33-$35 per hour, Monday to Friday, start-time at 7:00am or 8:00am within Arizona time zone. Join a fast-paced and positive work environment! 

Required Qualifications of the Inpatient Physician Coder 
- 4+ years of recent coding experience required 
- 2+ years of recent inpatient E/M coding experience required  
- Must work in Arizona time zone hours 
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required  
- High school diploma or GED required  
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Inpatient Physician Coder 
- Assign ICD-10 and CPT codes to medical records and accounts  
- Complete coding for all accounts on a timely basis  
- Follow up on all accounts 
- Work about 160 charts per day
