Compensation and Schedule for the Referral/Authorization Coordinator 
Referral/Authorization Coordinator – Full-time, onsite, $20-$24 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm. Join a fast-paced work environment with excellent benefits! 

Required Qualifications of the Referral/Authorization Coordinator 
- 2+ years of recent orthopedics/sports medicine referrals and authorizations experience required 
- High school diploma or GED required 
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Referral/Authorization Coordinator 
- Obtain medication authorizations for injections and x-rays for clinic patients prior to scheduled appointments when required by medical insurance 
- Ensure that the authorization number is documented for billing purposes 
- Coordinate and schedule subspecialty referrals as ordered by the medical provider in a timely fashion 
- Obtain any required third-party authorization for ordered subspecialty referrals
