Compensation and Schedule for the Cardiac Sonographer 
Cardiac Sonographer – Full-time/Part-time/PRN, onsite, $41-$61 per hour, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm. Join a positive working environment in a busy medical office! 

Required Qualifications of the Cardiac Sonographer 
- 2+ years of recent outpatient ultrasound experience required 
- Current RDCS, CCI, or RDMS certification required 
- Current BLS card from the AHA required
- High school diploma or GED required 
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen  

Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer 
- Verify orders entered in EMR by ordering Physician for examination 
- Attain B/P, height and weight, and billable diagnosis to complete the exam 
- Obtain patient information and enter all pertinent information in ultrasound machine 
- Explain echocardiogram to patient or patient's family 
- Perform echocardiogram following ICAEL standards and protocol  
- Load attained images into system 
- Complete preliminary report for the reading Cardiologist
